Yeah ... I finally found the answer I needed here!

I do 2 blogs on 3 PCs, and 1 of those installations has refused to show the theme of 1 blog. I didn't even know I could toggle that. All the forums I've been on have pushed me towards uploads, upgrades, and downloads that haven't solved the problem because it was so damn easy.

I think I probably hit that because it's keystroke is CTRL-F11, and I use SHIFT-F11 to toggle editing the HTML directly instead of using WYSIWYG.
